‍I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Lawrence Levy, former CFO of Pixar Animation Studios.
Levy worked closely with Jobs and the Pixar team to design and implement a roadmap that transformed what was a sleepy graphics art studio into one of Hollywood’s greatest success stories, having since generated lifetime box office revenues of US$10.8B.
One thing that most large organisations struggle with is how to balance creativity and innovation with financial objectives and external stakeholders...something that is at the core of what Pixar does. So what I’ve done in today’s episode of Fast Fix Friday is distilled 10 key takeaways on how to build a culture that plays both sides of this coin.
